A network hard drive is a storage device that is connected to a network and can be accessed by multiple users simultaneously, whereas a local hard drive is a storage device that is physically connected to a single computer. Network hard drives are typically used for sharing files and data across multiple devices, while local hard drives are used to store data specifically on one computer. Network hard drives require network connectivity to access, while local hard drives are directly connected to the computer they are installed in. **

A local disk is displayed instead of an external hard drive because the local disk is directly connected to the computer, while the external hard drive is not. The local disk is typically the primary storage device for the computer, while the external hard drive is an additional storage device that needs to be connected via a USB or other external port. Therefore, the local disk is given priority in the display as it is the main storage source for the computer. **

Yes, an external hard drive can be used as a local disk C on a computer. This can be done by connecting the external hard drive to the computer and then assigning it a drive letter, such as C. Once the external hard drive is assigned the drive letter C, it can be used to store and access files just like the internal hard drive. However, it's important to note that using an external hard drive as the local disk C may impact the performance of the computer, especially if the external hard drive has a slower data transfer speed compared to the internal hard drive. **

Breasts can feel firm or soft depending on various factors such as hormonal changes, menstrual cycle, pregnancy, breastfeeding, or certain medical conditions. Breasts may feel firmer and more tender during certain times, such as during the menstrual cycle or pregnancy, due to hormonal changes and increased blood flow. However, if breasts feel unusually hard or lumpy, it is important to consult a healthcare professional to rule out any underlying issues. **

Yes, cockroaches are hardy insects. They are able to survive in a wide range of environments and can go without food for long periods of time. They are also resistant to many insecticides and can adapt to changing conditions. These traits make them difficult to control and eradicate. **

When files are deleted from an external hard drive, they are typically moved to the local trash bin on the computer's internal hard drive. This means that the deleted files are not permanently removed from the system until the trash bin is emptied. Users can then choose to restore the deleted files from the trash bin or permanently delete them by emptying the trash. **

When you delete files from an external hard drive, they are typically moved to the local recycle bin on the computer that the hard drive is connected to. The files are not physically moved to the computer's hard drive, but rather a reference to the deleted files is created in the recycle bin. This allows you to easily restore the files if needed. If you empty the recycle bin or permanently delete the files from the recycle bin, they will be removed from the external hard drive and cannot be easily recovered. **

The Synology NAS network drive typically contains more files than the local hard drive because it is often used as a centralized storage solution for multiple users or devices within a network. This means that it may store files from various users, applications, and devices, leading to a larger number of files compared to an individual's local hard drive. Additionally, the NAS drive may also contain system files, backups, and shared resources that contribute to the higher file count. **
